From ink to sound wave to film to video the medium by which we relay the news has morphed over the centuries. To explore these changes, we covered the gallery with newspapers from important news events, and set up a classic news desk installation.
This episode was Inspired by the journalists, the breaking news reporters, the photographers, the investigators, the anchors who live and breath a job that has keeps them in a constant state of desperation... of shall we say a thirst.

Mimi Lipson’s stories and essays have appeared in the Massachusetts Review, BOMB, the Brooklyn Rail, and elsewhere. She’s published a short story collection called The Cloud of Unknowing, makes stained glass, and is the recipient of a National Science Foundation graduate fellowship in linguistics.
Gina Daidone is an actor/writer/producer born and raised in New York City. Gina previously worked at the New York Post as a crime and political reporter. She is currently working in film and television in Los Angeles.
