In September we put together a multi-media Thirst around the theme of Heroes & Sound. Besides the usual stories, it included two series of photos and a variety of sound installations.
In the spirit of election season, we gathered for a news themed Thirst – The Thirsty Press. We had some of New York’s best reporters sharing their art and stories.
Over the summer, we transformed the space into a leafy oasis. Raphael Ortiz and Sarah Rayne contributed photos of plants while storytellers gathered to tell stories about taking root.
Inspired by a trip to Paris, a nude photo shoot, and a rough year, we decided to make art. The Thirst gallery launched in May 2018 with a packed night of stories and sharing.
